pass the bean dip!

over the weekend, i made freezer bean dip.
it was ridiculously easy to whip up.
pun intended.
and it tastes just excellent!
i used two cans of northern beans.
drain-save liquid.
rinse beans.
put in a blender or food processor.
add favorite herbs.
i used a big handful of basil.
add a palm-size amount of spinach.
press the button... whip it up!
you may need to add the leftover liquid from the beans.
my blender was being stubborn... so i added a little bit of water
to help the blade spin around.
label and freeze.
serve on pita bread or pita-type crackers.
