Today, before lunch....we made Hoe Cakes! Just like George Washington used to eat for breakfast! People from that time period, used to cook these on the blades of their hoes. So, they say.
They're really easy to make! And, they're not the best...but it's fun to say you tried them... Here's the recipe!
After lunch, we headed to a local nature center and pretended to go exploring like Lewis and Clark!
