When I saw your beautiful wine bottle...Hi Michele!

When I saw your beautiful wine bottles I instantly thought of two recipes to share that you might enjoy during the holiday/winter season; it makes great bottled gifts....one has wine, but the other is an alternate for a non-wine drink

SPICED WINE
2 cups prepared orange juice
2 cups prepared pineapple juice
3/4 cup water
4 cinnamon sticks
6 whole cloves
4 cups burgundy wine

Simmer first 5 ingredients for 20 minutes. Remove from heat and add 4 cups wine. Serve warm or cold.

MULLED CRANBERRY JUICE
6 cups cranberry juice
3 cups apple juice
3 cups orange juice
3/4 cups maple syrup
1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
3/4 tsp ground cloves
3/4 tsp ground nutmeg
Combine all ingredients in Dutch oven and bring to a boil. Serve hot.

We are having a glorious fall in Texas ~ the falls colors are better than they have been in years.

Take Care!
Teresa in TexasAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
